Terms of Service

Soft Success Technologies Ltd (trading as "Salonier")

Company No. 16078502 • Registered in England and Wales

Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom

1. About Salonier

Salonier provides online booking and deposit-first checkout tools for salons and similar businesses ("Owners"). Clients use Salonier to book appointments with Owners.

2. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing Salonier, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be able to form a contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts

Owners are responsible for their account, users, and content. Keep credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised use.

4. Services and payments

  • Owner subscriptions: Plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) may include a 7-day trial. After the trial, fees recur monthly unless cancelled before renewal. We may change prices with reasonable notice.
  • Platform fees: On some plans we charge a % platform fee on deposits collected for Owners via Stripe Connect. Pro has a 0% platform fee.
  • Deposits for client bookings: Deposits are charged to clients on behalf of Owners. Owners set policies (e.g., free-cancel window). After the deadline or in case of no-show, the deposit may be forfeited per policy. Owner-cancelled bookings are refunded.

5. Role and responsibility

  • Owner is the merchant/service provider for bookings and service delivery.
  • Salonier provides the platform and payment facilitation via Stripe Connect.
  • Disputes over service quality are between Client and Owner. We may assist with platform or payment questions.

6. Stripe and payouts

Payments are processed by Stripe. Owners must complete Stripe onboarding and comply with Stripe's terms, acceptable use, and KYC. Payout timing and holds are governed by Stripe and the Owner's bank.

7. Cancellations & refunds

  • Client deposits: Refunded automatically if cancelled before the free-cancel deadline; otherwise forfeited, except for Owner cancellations.
  • Owner subscriptions: Cancel anytime to stop future renewals; fees paid are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the platform (spam, fraud, illegal content, scraping, reverse engineering, or security testing without permission).

9. Intellectual property

Salonier owns the platform and all related IP. Owners retain rights to their brands, content, and data. You grant us a licence to operate and display content solely to provide the service.

10. Data protection

We process personal data per our Privacy Policy. For client booking data, Owners are controllers; Salonier is a processor. Owners must provide transparent policies to clients and comply with applicable law.

11. Service changes and availability

We may modify features or discontinue the service with notice where feasible. We try to keep services available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

12. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salonier is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability to an Owner in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid to Salonier for that period.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate for breach, fraud, or risk. You may terminate at any time via your account. Upon termination we may retain data as required by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local law mandates otherwise.

15. Export restrictions

Salonier provides digital services only and does not sell or ship physical goods. Therefore, no export or import restrictions apply.
